Anubias barteri var. nana is a small, attractive plant that thrives in all conditions. It originates from Cameroon and will reach 5-10 cm height. The rhizome will be 10-15 cm or more. It grows slowly, and the leaves survive for several years, giving slow-growing algae the chance to become established. The best result is achieved by planting on a stone or tree root. Fishing line can be used to attach the plant until it gains a hold. If planted on the bottom the rhizome must not be covered because it tends to rot. It flowers frequently under water and will thrive in shady places, where other plants will not. It is not eaten by herbivorous fish.

Description
Wabi-Kusa Mat is a new ADA living product of aquatic mosses attached on the original base mat which is developed to be well drained and provide easy rooting for aquatic mosses and epiphytic plants. In addition to enjoying it as the wall layout of DOOA Wabi-Kusa Wall 60 or System Terra 30, you can also arrange it combining with various epiphytic plants. It is also possible to peel off the moss from the base mat to use as desired in your Nature Aquarium layout.
Peacock Moss grows densely without getting long or branching very much when grown emersed. When grown vertically in System Terra 30 or on a Wabi-Kusa Wall, it tends to spread horizontally and produce a voluminous light green wall. Submersed Peacock moss grows large by branching unlike emerged one. A fully developed leaf has a triangular shape. The moss spreads by developing layers of leaves. Since it does not attach itself to a layout material as well as other mosses do, Riccia Line should be used to attach it to a stone or driftwood. BIO MIZUKUSA NO MORI is tissue cultured plant originally produced by ADA. Since it is grown in the special agar media, it does not bring harmful chemicals, algae, or snails into your aquarium tank. The agar media is easily removable, and it enables faster preparation of plants for planting in your aquarium.
