Origin: South America (notably Brazil).
Growth Habit: Branching stem plant that creates dense clusters.

Aquarium Requirements

Lighting: Medium to high. Under strong light, it grows intensely and demands more frequent pruning.
CO2: Can grow in low-tech setups without supplemental CO2, but thrives, spreads more quickly, and develops larger leaves when CO2 and fertilizers are present.
Temperature: 22°C – 28°C.
Water Parameters: Adapts to soft and hard water.
