Mini Orchid – Dendrobium Loddigesii

Mini Orchid – Dendrobium Loddigesii is native to Laos, Vietnam, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan and Yunnan provinces of China and Hong Kong. In Laos, they grow in the Xieng Khounang area. They are usually found at an altitude of 1000-1500 m, but they were met even at an altitude of only 400 m.  It is a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte, lithophyte or terrestrial, which reaching 10-18 cm in height, with tufted, pendant,  striated, several noded, white sheathed, 8-15 cm long stems carrying alternate, fleshy, oblong, acute, 4-6 cm long leaves. Mini Orchid – Dendrobium Loddigesii is best mounted on tree fern rootstock due to their creeping, hanging habit. You can attached the plant to a ball made of mesh and allowed it to grow.

Care Instructions:
Lighting : Medium to high Lighting, RGB preferred or windowsill
Watering : Drench once a week and light spray of water every 2 to 3 days : DOOA Wabi-Kusa mist preferred.
Planting : Attach to rocks or wood (Dooa Terra line, Terra tape, Epic plant glue)

Perfectly suited for Terrariums, Paludariums and Vivarium’s. The roots attach to wood and rocks easily by using the ADA DOOA Terra Tape and Terra line.
